Great Jones Distilling Co. Rye Whiskey Review
Great Jones Distilling Co. is the first legal distillery to open in Manhattan since the repeal of Prohibition, and its products truly embody the Empire State spirit. This whiskey is “New York” to the core, with 100 percent of the grains grown in-state. Its profile is redolent of anise, rosemary, and licorice, while a bright maraschino cherry note sweetens the deal and a kick of grain spice lingers on the finish. For only $45, this bottle makes for a solid entry-level rye.
