Gratien & Meyer Cremant de Loire Rosé Brut NV Review
The classic peppery aromas of Cabernet Franc are very distinct in this wine. I know it sounds kinda nuts to have savory stuff happening in a bubbly rosé, but it’s all good. The bubbles are plentiful and persistent, and the fruit is tart and juicy. It balances those pepper notes well. At well under $20 this is a great pick up on the way to BYOB brunch or a beach party. The pop of the cork also sounds great at a picnic.
