Glengoyne 21 Year Old Highland Single Malt
Review
Despite its age, this single malt opens with a surprising amount of freshness and vibrancy on the nose but that soon evolves into intense aromas of dried cranberries, prunes, and a floral perfume. The palate shows even more age, delivering a well-balanced, enjoyable sipping experience. That being said, it feels as though a small boost in the whisky's ABV would provide even more depth to the palate and further justify its lofty price tag.
