George Dickel Rye Whiskey
Review
George Dickel Rye Whisky is distilled in Lawrenceburg, IN, and is made using a 95 percent rye and 5 percent malted barley mash bill. All of which is to say, it's MGP juice. George Dickel finishes the whiskey in the same chilled charcoal-filtration technique it uses for its Tennessee whiskey. The process mellows some of the spicy character of rye, but the grain is still distinguishable, lending dill, mint, and clove notes. This is a great everyday sipper.
