This wine is sourced from one of Napa's most exciting vineyards. Vines were first planted here in 1895, and the plot has been tended to by some of the most influential figures in this region’s history. Gagnon andKennedy are explorers. They seek out history in the vineyards they work with and skillfully coax wonders out of American ancient vines. This Cabernet defines what it is to be a Cabernet in Napa. Deep and powerful on the nose with intoxicating aromas of blackberry and slight mint, the palate will give you pause. You can sense the balance of this wine just by the mouthfeel. The weight is perfect, with dense fruit balanced by mild acidity. The tannic grip has a comforting pull, allowing the fruit to take center stage. This is a special wine and an American standard.
