Fuji Japanese Whisky
Review
On top of being named after Japan’s most famous volcano, Fuji Japanese Whisky employs snowmelt water from Mt. Fuji in every stage of its production, according to the distillery. Made with pot-distilled 100-percent malt, and American-, Canadian-, and Scottish-style grain whiskies, this blend opens with a bright and fruity nose, revealing notes of peak-season apricots and ripening peaches. Those same characteristics shine through on the palate with a pleasant peppery spice rounding out the finish. All in all, this is a well-rounded blend at a price that’s easy on the wallet.
