Elisabetta Foradori is a pioneer of sustainability in viticulture as well as winemaking. She and her team have been making wine this way for decades as the world struggled to catch up. Foradori wines are an intimate expression of the mountainous region they live in Trentino Alto Adige. This Tereoldego, a native grape to northern Italy, shows how sustainability can also yield amazing wine. The nose is bright with a savory vibe frolicking with some cherry cola. It has a medium body with soft fruit and good natural mountain acidity. It’s a wine that is rustic and elegant at once and will jive with a casual pizza or a more focused pasta dish.
