Familia Zuccardi "Zuccardi Q" Malbec 2016 Review
Maybe if this wine had less alcohol. Maybe if it was one vineyard instead of two. This wine wants to be balanced, it just can’t get there. The alcohol is high and the tannin are green, taking away from complexity and subtlety. It has good structure and some aromas of... well I am not sure, because of the alcohol. It has a nice mouthfeel after the heat of the alcohol calms but the finish doesn’t linger. There is goodness in this bottle but it is not a wine to pour and focus on but one to have when wine is not the focus.
