Familia Zuccardi 'Concreto' Malbec 2014 Review
Zuccardi’s 'Concreto' Malbec is a complete departure from everything we associate with the South American staple variety. Part of the winery’s ‘Icon’ collection, this wine is lively and refreshing, and begs to be chilled. As its name suggests, this Malbec is fermented in increasingly-fashionable concrete eggs, giving an abundance of red fruit character and a soft, easy-drinking texture. This is the bottle to drink before the BBQ, and loses marks only because of its slightly elevated price point.
