From Santa Ana del Río, Oaxaca, this transportive Tepeztate opens with expressive herbal, earthy, aloe vera aromas. Bottled at 45 percent ABV, it toes a fine line of having intense flavor notes — savory smoke building on the green nose — while not overpowering the palate. This is great for sipping and simple summer highballs.
