El Silencio Mezcal Ensamble Review

This blend (or Ensamble) combines Tobasiche, Mexicano, Espadín agave. All three are cooked, fermented, and distilled separately, with the former two varieties distilled once, and the Espadín distilled twice. The resulting blend delivers nuanced floral notes, subtle smoke, and a sprinkle of fiery chipotle. Don't be fooled by its relatively tame 40 percent ABV content: this mezcal lacks neither punch nor concentration of flavor. This is an absolute winner.
