Early Mountain Petit Manseng 2017 Review
I think this little blending grape from Southwest France has found a home in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and that is pretty damn exciting; this bottle is a perfect example. The wine has a unique opening act of pear, pulverized rock, lemon, and white flower (maybe hawthorn) aromas. There is a welcome depth on the palate that is not typical of this grape, with excellent acidity promoting the slightest hint of beeswax and green apples.
