Domaine Matrot Meursault 2017 Review
Wow, this threw me for a loop. It’s not your typical elegant wine from this area. It’s rough around the edges, and needs to sit for a minute to blow off some funk, but when it settles things get a bit better, with a savory cannabis and pear vibe. The palate is grippy with tart acidity and maybe some vanilla. At over $50 it’s a tough sell. It may work for a get together, but not as a representation of this region.
