Domaine Lavantureux Bougros Chablis Grand Cru 2016 Review
The smell of lightly toasted country bread with a hint of caramel and a plume of flinty smoke. The mouthfeel is grippy with a quiet dose of buttered popcorn. The focus of the wine is hard to explain. It has such a defined structure that weakens in the right places to reveal wonderful fruit depth. This is Chardonnay at its best.
