Grüner Veltliner can be both a fun bistro-style communal wine and an age-worthy white wine. This bottle is the latter. It offers extreme balance and character that just keeps giving with each sip. It’s well-aged with a pleasant nose of deep bruised fruit and grilled bananas. Slight oxidation on the palate brings a depth bursting with texture and balance. There is a welcome savory herb vibe that holds up the aging fruit.
