DeLille Cellars Chaleur Blanc 2016 Review
Delille Cellars are on to something. They have taken the classic Bordeaux blend and given it an American twist, and it works. Fuller bodied than the wines of the Gironde, this wine has very nice depth, with subtle toasted oak vanilla and caramel mingling with tropical aromas and herbs (one herb in particular that is legal in the state now) as the Semillon comes in to keep the Sauvignon Blanc in check. This bottle is one of Washington's more structured and elegant whites
