Deanston 12 Year Whisky Review
This Highland single malt checks all the boxes of a textbook Scotch without feeling underwhelming or ordinary. Aged in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at a precise 46.3 percent ABV, Deanston 12 Year delivers a medley of sweet red berries, stone fruits, and a touch of oak char on the nose and palate, culminating in a long, spicy finish. All things considered, this is a shining example of a 12-year-old Scotch. Enjoy it as a neat pour or served over a large rock of ice.
