Courage & Conviction American Single Malt Whisky Review
A Virginia-made single malt, this bottle contains a blend of whiskies aged in bourbon, sherry, and French red wine casks. Its distinct character suggests that “American” single malt is more than just a designation of origin — Courage & Conviction shares much in common with young Scotch on the nose, while the palate delves into bourbon territory with notes of cocoa, caramel, and barrel spice (don’t wait around for the sweet kiss of corn, though).
