Cortijo Tinto Rioja 2016 Review
This is a delightfully light and fresh expression of Rioja. There are no perceptible oak flavors, even though a portion spends a few months in barrel. It has vibrant aromas of cherry candy and wildflowers, and flavors of lush red fruit. It's clean and medium-bodied; an incredible value-Rioja. With its light body and bold fruit, it's even a nice alternative to California Pinot. A splendid guzzler. Bring a bottle to a party.
