Château Trinquevedel Tavel Rosé 2022 Review

Eugène Demoulin acquired the 13th century Château de Trinquevedel estate in 1936. It was overrun with weeds and he was determined to revive the property. Today his great grandson is carrying on the hard work and tradition that Eugène began so long ago. Tavel, located in France’s Southern Rhône, is known for its rosés. Not white or red wines. Because it’s the only appellation in France dedicated solely to this style. It is an excellent example of the quality that can be achieved here. It’s a complex rosé with aromas of white cherry, raspberry, and herbs. The palate is refreshing, but with good depth, making it great for dinner parties.
