Château Recougne Bordeaux Superieur 2020 Review

Xavier Milhade and his wife Agnes are the fourth generation owners of this historic estate. It was established in 1938 and is one of the top performing Bordeaux Superior in its category and we can see why. The nose and palate have a nice soft quality with some deep aromas of cherries and cranberries. The palate is on the rustic side and works well with the rich core of fruit and edgy tannins. It may need another year to soften a bit, but can be enjoyed now with some decanting.
