Chateau Montelena Napa Valley Chardonnay 2021 Review
Chateau Montelena is known for producing one of the most famous Chardonnays in the U.S. It was part of the judgement of Paris in the late '70s that put Napa Valley on the map. The real success, though, is its consistent elegance and quality. This vintage may be one of the winery's best — the palate is liquid gold with soft, supple depth and extreme balance. It has the slightest hint of oak, but it's still present and accounted for.
