Château de Pommard Clos Marey-Monge Grands Esprits 2017 Review
Château de Pommard is located in the heart of Burgundy's Côte d'Or and is one of the oldest wine estates in the region. They witnessed the emergence of Pinot Noir and today they are a force in Burgundy with a great lineup of wines. This Clos Marey-Monge Grands Esprits is a beautiful example of their skill and centuries of experience. The nose is earth wrapped up in cherry and cinnamon with the slightest hint of oak. There are some fresh hints of rhubarb and a dose of soy. The palate is balanced between tart and fleshy fruit flavors.
