Castillo Monjardin "La Cantera" Garnacha 2017 Review
Have you ever had old vine Garnacha from Spain? It’s always affordable, and more often than not, great. This wine, made from 70 year old vines, is one of the great ones. For $10 you get a well balanced red wine with ripe sour cherry and blackberry notes under a layer of floral aromas bordering on violet with a touch of vanilla from just the right oak exposure. The tannins are silky, the acidity is bright and this is your new Tuesday night wine.
