Castello del Trebbio 'Lastricato' Riserva, Chianti Rufina DOCG 2013 Review
Damn, this wine is chillin nice and comfy in the Sangiovese sweet spot, expressing the height of quality from this grape. You’ll really dig the nose, as aromas of cherry and strap leather (like in a Coach store) waft up into your brain, along with some floral rose petal vibes. It really gets you stoked for that first sip, which is spectacular. The palate is soulful, tapping into your endorphins and raising your excitement level as all aromas carry over onto a beautifully textured palate, with grippy tannin and a fruit core you just want to chew on. Go get some skirts steaks and slather them with garlic and olive oil, this is going to be a good night.
