Castellare in Castellina Chianti Classico DOCG 2017 Review
The commune of Castellina in Classico has the highest concentration of the galestro soils that define the geography of this region. The result is rich, plush, soft Sangiovese. The wine has a beautiful dark ruby color with tangy cherry notes intermingled with earth and quiet hints of rose petals. It has a perfect medium bodied structure, with a calm tannic grip. This is such a good food wine and will pair with any Tuscan style dish.
