Carpineto Brunello di Montalcino 2018 Review

Carpineto is a journey that began between friends in 1967 to produce the highest quality Chianti Classico. But they didn’t stop there. Their love for the Sangiovese grape then spread throughout Tuscany with careful site selection for new plantings. Today, they make wine from five estates. This passion for the Sangiovese grape shines through in their Brunello di Montalcino. The nose is wildly floral with notes of rose petals and red fruit. The palate is divine with a medium fruit depth and wonderful acidity. The tannins are masterfully woven into the wine, giving it a lovely texture.
