Canoe Ridge Vineyard Summit Series Malbec 2018 Review

Caonoe Ridge Vineyard began as a collaboration between business people and farmers. An agreement was made and in 1989 the vineyard was born. Even though many have been the steward of this land it seems the quality has been maintained, even as they have expanded to work with more varieties, including this Malbec. It’s a wonderful American style and very Washington State in that is has depth that can be perceived on the nose and palate with an easy balance of oak and fruit. There is a channel of minerality that comes through to keep the wine refreshing even with its weight.
