Calera Central Coast Chardonnay 2016 Review
The nose leads with ripe pear and lemon curd notes along with what feels like buttery flaky pie crust. The palate is creamy, but lifted by decent acidity, bringing in a unique hint of earthy fig due to the barrel fermentation and high alcohol. This is a great wine for gifting a host or bringing to a dinner party.
