FEL Anderson Valley Chardonnay 2017 Review
This wine is rich for Anderson Valley, and as lean as the Valley wants to be. With a nice balance of depth and minerality this wine welcomes with aromas of crisp green apple, lemon, and tangerine, mingling with riper notes of pineapple, and acacia on the nose. On the palate is where the body-harmony is apparent with a soft, deep mouthfeel held up by a contrasting wet rock minerality showing good oak exposure through hazelnut flavors and a whisper of coconut along with a firm grip. The finish wraps everything together with clean salinity saying: "hey, bring me along for lunch."
