Boundary Breaks Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2017 Review

It’s very hard to write what I love about this wine in a quick review because what I am tasting are the best parts of the the two most well known regions for this grape as a varietal wine (Cali, Loire) that combined, conjure some new and fun aromas. And this is grown in the Finger Lakes! You have the classic rustic edge of earth notes and blackberry fruit, with cracked black pepper but nudging them aside just a bit are very balanced aromas of eucalyptus, balsamic, and dare I say bubble gum. Yeah I said bubblegum and it works dammit. I wish I could write more, but just go get this wine. It’s awesome.
