Booker's Bourbon Batch 2020-01 “Granny’s Batch” Review
Booker's first release of 2020 is named in honor of master distiller Fred Noe’s grandmother. It arrives in bottle at a barrel strength 63.2 percent ABV, following almost six and a half years of aging. The overall profile mimics that of a gourmet candy bar — in a good way. The aromas and flavors recall a decadent mix of nuts, dark chocolate, and caramel, while the palate brings subtle spice. Add a few drops of water and enjoy its evolution in glass.
