Bodegas Avancia Mencia 2014 Review
This is a nice transition wine. If you want to get into something new but need, like most of us, baby steps to get there. It’s from Spain and can be soft and herby with wild berry and pepper. It’s awesome. Here we have a very Bordeaux-like example to get you started. I don’t often like to compare wine styles across regions but I cannot deny the fact this tastes like a merlot dominant Bordeaux. It has all of the characteristics mentioned along with softened edges from good oak. Following this wine check some others reviewed on this site to take you to the next step. Enjoy!
