Blackadder Red Snake 111 Single Cask Review
When you see barrel-proof, single cask offerings, they are most often American whiskeys, but this single malt Scotch proves that the style can be just as effective across the Atlantic. The nose presents a harmony of sweet vanilla and toasted oak (thanks to bourbon cask aging) combined with rich berry compote aromas. Dark black fruit balances out peppery spice and the 60.2 percent ABV content on the palate. A must-buy for the Scotch geek in your life.
