Billsboro Winery Pinot Noir 2020 Review

Vinny Aliperti is a New Yorker who fell in love with wine after watching his grandfather make it in his Queens cellar. He made his way to the Hamptons working with Wölffer Estate and eventually landed in the Finger Lakes where he and his wife Kim bought the Billsboro Winery. This cool-climate Pinot Noir has a lean body with cherry aromas that waft up with some leathery earth vibes. The palate is drying but has enough fruit to stay balanced and enjoyable. This is a cheese plate Pinot for sure.
