Becker Vineyards Reserve Chardonnay 2019 Review

The Beckers bought a cabin in Texas Hill Country in the early nineties as a getaway home. It came with just under fifty acres of land. Long story short they began a wine venture with the help of family and friends and today have over three hundred acres planted with nine different grape varieties. This bottle really shows Chardonnay’s potential in this region. The nose is rich with a soft touch of oak but not too much. The mouthfeel shows medium acidity and a wonderful weight that brings out the deep fruit. This is a food wine but also a wine to just sip and chat. Great Texas wine!
