Alois Lageder Lagrein 2016 Review
Alois Lageder has the ability to make a significant amount of wine and still keep the quality in the bottle. This might be your first Lagrein because of this wine's broad availability, and if you are a lover of Merlot give this awesome grape a try. It has a nice, soft palate with notes of sour cherry and blueberry, with a hint of eucalyptus and a whisper of balsamic. It’s a great bottle for a last minute weeknight pairing.
