Alcance Gran Reserva Chardonnay 2015 Review
This is a big wine for Chile. The Alcohol is a bit high, but there is a balanced creamy vibe to the wine that helps contrast the heat. The wine opens with notes of lemon curd and sage, followed by hints of citrus, like orange, and some tropical guava sprinkled with mint. All of these characteristics are hanging out individually, giving the sweet wood and alcohol some restraint. This is a fun wine if you dig the heavier versions of Chardonnay from California.
