Smith Story Wine Cellars Olivet Lane Chardonnay 2021 Review

Husband and wife team Eric Story and Alison Smith-Story's mission statement is to make wines with, “respect for the land, kindness for the grower and, love from the winemaker.” Olivet Lane was one of the first vineyards to be planted in the Russian River of Sonoma California, and is a highly sought-after source of fruit. The nose has a nice comfy oak note with hints of fresh herbs. The palate is well-structured with deep fruit and balanced acidity. The oak comes through on the finish while still keeping you craving the next sip.
