3 Badge Enology "Plungerhead" Unoaked Chardonnay 2016 Review
Lodi is a unique place in that it has a Mediterranean climate where irrigation is actually allowed. The results are ripe and juicy wines, especially for whites, with no need for oak and 3 Badge Enology knows this. This unoaked Chardonnay is a great value at under $20 with ripe pear and apple fruit and a hint of citrus balanced by the cool undercurrent of minerality and an acidity that won’t weigh down your palate. A good chill and a sunny day and this bottle is your buddy.
