The Story Behind The Strawberry Sparkler
Recently I came across a bottle of Pisco I forgot I had lurking in the back of a cabinet. Figuring life is for the living, I decided to mix a cocktail using other odds and ends I had on hand. I knew from experience that strawberry simple syrup went great with Pisco, so I added that for color and flavor. I also knew I wanted to lengthen the cocktail a bit, so I broke down and went to my local liquor store to pick up a bottle of sparkling rosé. The result is simple, delicious, and ideal for entertaining. Brunch, anyone?
