Pop-up bars are appealing for many reasons, among them their temporary existence and exclusive feel. Previously, the average Joe or Jane could only imagine hosting a pop-up bar in one’s own backyard. Now, Yard Bar makes the mobile pop-up pub a possibility.
Yard Bar, based in Philadelphia with operations in New York and soon, Florida, brings everything you need for a backyard party right to your house. High top tables, bar stools, beverage storage, and ice wells are all part of the package, along with running water, dimmable lighting, a sound system and 42” TV, heaters, and a generator. It all comes compact in a cute “rustic farmhouse,” or more like a glorified trailer.
All you have to do is stock the bar. If you need help with the cocktail menu, Yard Bar can help with that, too. According to the company, the bar can accommodate up to 40 “patrons” anywhere — even a boat.
