U.S. beercationers have a handful of options for beer-themed hotels, including the Dogfish Inn in Delaware, BrewDog’s DogHouse in Ohio, and nine locations of McMenamins breweries with hotels across the country. Now, they can add another into the fold: Shipyard Brewing has announced plans for its own “brewtel” in Portland, Maine.

Shipyard, which is Maine’s largest brewery, the Portland Press Herald reports, has submitted a $65 million revelopment plan to the city. The proposal builds on Portland’s status as a prime destination for beer travelers, and includes renovating Shipyard’s existing brewery, as well as buliding a new hotel, residential building, office building, and garage.

If all goes well, the report says, guests may be able to order freshly-tapped beer from a keg wheeled up to their rooms.
