October is finally upon us, meaning Halloween is approaching quickly. Prepare yourself for trick or treating, haunted houses, and costume parties. However, in Washington D.C. you won’t have to wait until the 31st to begin the spooky festivities. A Halloween pop-up bar in our nation’s capitol called Pub Dread will feature a spooky Halloween theme for the entire month of October.

Much like the Stranger Things themed pop-up bar in Chicago, Pub Dread features a variety of themed drinks in addition to the haunted house décor. A drink called It’s Pronounced Fronk-En-Steen features Belle Meade bourbon, salted cucumber, semi-dry cider, and apple cider for a whiskey take on a perennial Halloween figure. If you’re an M. Night Shyamalan fan, get excited for the I See Dead People cocktail inspired by The Sixth Sense. The libation consists of gin, fino sherry, fig, cinnamon, lemon, bitters, and soda. Hopefully, the drink won’t induce such hallucinations. There’s a little something for everyone, so if you’re a fan of the Saw series prepare yourself for the Wanna Play a Game cocktail. You won’t have to saw through your own leg to try the drink, which features dark rum, St. George Terroir gin, Giffard vanilla, root beer concentrate, lemon, and clarified milk.

The bar space is outfitted just like a well-done haunted house. According to Thrillist, the bar is divided into three horrifying parts: The Haunted Forest, the Doll House, and the Crypt. Bats hang from the ceiling, skulls are embedded in the brick behind the bar, creepy dolls stare at you with their beady little eyes from above the liquor shelves, and tombstones and coffins line the walls. While you enjoy yourself, keep an eye out for Cordelia, the resident possessed evil doll.

This isn’t your olives as eyeballs and warm hot dogs as fingers type of party, so get ready to try on a few different costumes and drink some mysterious concoctions.
