A London Bar Wants to Pay For You and Your Bestie to Travel the World, Drinking Gin

Do you like travel, adventure, and drinking gin? Do you happen to have a few spare months between August and November this year?

If so, today might just be your lucky day. London bar chain Mr Fogg’s wants to pay a global ambassador to travel the world and drink gin, Wales Online reports. The newly-appointed ambassador will even get to take their best friend.

Mr Fogg’s bar chain is inspired by Phileas Fogg, the protagonist in the Jules Verne novel, Around the World in Eighty Days. To help with the group’s latest opening, the ambassador and traveling companion will follow in the footsteps of Phileas Fogg, and visit Mumbai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, San Francisco, New York, and Lisbon.

Along the way, they will be required to collect different botanicals from each location, return to London within 80 days, and create their very own ‘Around the World Cocktail’ for the new bar, The Exploration Society.

The candidate must be social media savvy, over 21 years of age, and skilled at writing and photography. The ambassador’s friend, too, should be an accomplished photographer and selfie-taker, Mr Fogg’s says. Tick all of these boxes? You can apply online now.
