Ranch Water’s recent surge in popularity shows no sign of slowing, and now Heineken is expanding on the success of its ready-to-drink (RTD) canned version of the cocktail via its Dos Equis brand.

In recent years, the simple West Texas staple, comprised of Topo Chico mineral water, tequila, and lime juice, has seen a significant spike in popularity outside of the Lone Star State. Buoyed by the popularity of hard seltzer, a number of brands have brought RTD iterations to market since 2019, including craft players Shotgun Seltzer and Lone River.

Launched in Texas in 2021, Heineken’s Dos Equis Ranch Water is now slated to appear in a host of new states, and hard seltzer fans can expect to find the cans nationwide in the near future.

“Texans have rapidly proven their love of the product, and we can’t wait to have it on shelves across the U.S.,” noted Dos Equis brand director Hannah Dray in an email brief describing the response to the drink’s initial release.
