Disney Is Now Serving Boozy Dole Whips With Coconut Rum

Dole Whip lovers and tiki drink fans, pack your bags and bring a straw: Disney just debuted a new boozy Dole Whip.

After introducing an adult-friendly version of its iconic pineapple-flavored frozen treat in 2019, Walt Disney World’s Pineapple Lanai Cafe at Polynesian Resort has now released an eye-catching twist on frozen dessert: The “Polynesian Lava You,” comprised of passionfruit, orange, and guava juices, and topped with a generous sprinkling of popping candy. Most importantly for drinks lovers, the boozy version comes with a shot of coconut-flavored rum on the side. Theoretically, this shot can be enjoyed on its own, sure. But it’s best added to the frozen mix for maximum tiki effect.

While not explicitly labeled a limited-time treat, now may be the best time to try this frothy, fruity concoction. After all, there’s no time like the present for indulging in a tropical fantasy. According to the Disney Food Blog, the cocktail-desert hybrid goes for $15.25, while a non-boozy version costs $5.99.
