For the first time ever, Anheuser-Busch is releasing Bud Light in Pride-friendly packaging for World Pride. The limited-edition rainbow bottles will be available in bars nationwide. For every case sold between May 27 and June 30, 2019, $1 will be donated to GLAAD (up to $150,000).

According to the announcement, Bud Light has partnered with GLAAD for the last 20 years. The bottles debuted at the GLAAD Media Awards in New York City on May 4, 2019, and will make a splashier debut at the Governors Ball Music Festival on June 1.

At the Governors Ball festival, the Bud Light Dive Bar Sessions stage will feature all-LGBTQ+ performers.

“Bud Light has been a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community since the [19]80s and we are excited to continue our long-standing partnership with GLAAD,” Andy Goeler, Vice President of Marketing for Bud Light, said in a press release.

Bud Light joins a roster of several other LGBTQ-supporting beer labels, such as Bell’s Brewery’s Sparkleberry, DC Brau’s Pride Pils, and the Queer Brewing Project’s Queer Royale.
