Time is just a construct in 2020, so why not celebrate your favorite holidays whenever you want? At least that’s what Baileys wants you to do with its new apple pie flavored Irish cream, described as “perfect for Friendsgiving in August.”
On Monday, the liqueur brand released the boozy take on the classic fall treat that combines the flavors of freshly baked apple pie with notes of creamy vanilla ice cream and cinnamon.
“Now more than ever, holidays such as Friendsgiving aren’t necessarily tied to a month or even a season, they’re a mentality that bring with them a sense of familiarity, togetherness, and the excitement to uphold traditions with friends, family, and loved ones – even when virtual,” reads a press release from the brand.
Bottles of the pie-flavored liqueur are available nationwide while supplies last. And if you are looking for a more indulgent celebration, Baileys has partnered with Cocktail Courier and celebrity pastry chef Zac Young to release the “Baileys Apple Pie Friendsgiving Kit.”
The kit is complete with the namesake bottle, Baileys Apple Pie cookies by Young, and everything needed to make a batch of “Apple of My Chai” cocktails — a spiked chai tea latte.
Grab a bottle and some friends and get to celebrating early.
