Two Takes on Prosecco Cocktails for Brunch

Mimosas will always be a classic go-to for brunch sipping, but there are also ways to creatively switch up the basics when making Prosecco cocktails.  Here are two recipes that are a refreshing take on the classics, complete with citrus and bubbles.

The Mionetto Spritz

Prosecco cocktails make Brunch Better! The Mionetto Spritz is a classic Italian spritz, using Mionetto Prosecco for the ideal high-quality bubbly. Enjoy with an orange slice for added citrus.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 ounces Mionetto Prosecco DOC
  • 2 ounces Aperol
  • 2 ounces soda water

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pour Mionetto Prosecco and then Aperol into a white wine or balloon glass over ice.
  2. Top with soda water.
  3. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Garnish with an orange slice.

The Mionetto Rosé Spritz

It’s rosé season! Shake up your usual brunch cocktail with the Mionetto Rosé Spritz. It’s light, refreshing, and has the perfect balance of fruity and tart flavors. Salute!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 ounces Mionetto Sparkling Rosé
  • 1 ounce Campari
  • 2 ounces sparkling water

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine Campari and sparkling water in a tall flute.
  2. Top with Mionetto Sparkling Rosé.
  3. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Garnish with a ruby red grapefruit wedge.
